After examining the last clinic patient, Angie tells off Derek for brushing off a potentially dangerous sign, as it would have warranted closer inspection. She then scolds him for not taking things seriously as expected of his profession. While operating on a patient with multiple tumors, Angie is concerned about some anomalies in the blood tests. The patient also did not seem to stabilize after successful removal of the tumors, and Angie noted even more abnormalities in their post-op blood tests. Derek makes the questionable decision to delay treatment as he had to attend a symposium, only for that patient's condition to worsen while he's out of hospital.
Conference[]
Briefing - UtK
Since Dr. Kasal is at a conference, I'll be briefing you today.
(...I think you'd be briefing me even if he was here.)
We're extracting a stage 1 tumor from the small intestine.
So...If we take it out, the patient will fully recover.
However, the blood test results were...unusual.
We can ask Dr. Kasal about that once he gets back. If I extract the tumor, he should be fine.
That's technically correct, but--
I'm pretty confident. I've extracted tumors several times already. This'll be a snap.
...Okay. Keep the two operation objectives in mind, then: - Treat the inflamed epithelium in this small intestine. - Excise and remove all tumors in the small intestine. If you're ready, let's begin.
Let's begin the operation!

However, his blood test results were...unusual.
We can ask Dr. Kasal about that once he gets back. As long as I extract the tumor, the patient should be fine.

I'm pretty confident about this, I've extracted tumors several times already. This'll be a snap.
...Okay. Keep the two operation objectives in mind, then: - Treat the inflamed epithelium in his small intestine. - Excise and remove all tumors in the area. If you're ready, let's begin.
Let's begin the operation!
Operation[]
The patient starts with the small intestine heavily inflamed, and vitals can plummet quickly with this much inflammation. Be quick and accurate with the anti-inflammatory, and know that a full syringe of anti-inflammatory is enough to treat multiple inflammations.
Following treatment of inflammation, there are four tumors to excise. Treat them as you would any other tumor. Once treatment is done, as per Angie's instructions, check around with the ultrasound. You only need to use the ultrasound 10 times anywhere before you can proceed to close up.

Your biggest obstacle is likely the vitals bonus, so be prepared to use the stabilizer more often than normal. Otherwise, an XS should not be too difficult.

Failure - UtK
It's too dangerous! Stop! We'll just wait for Dr. Kasal!
