This article is about the Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2 episode. For the character of the same name, see Kenneth Blackwell.
Blackwell is the seventh episode of the fourth chapter of Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2.
Story[]
Derek reviews the diagnosis and confirms that its his PGS that's the cause of his symptoms. They cannot transfer him to another facility in time and have to operate on him in the lab. Derek is a little doubtful, but Blackwell implores him to save his life.
Derek works on Blackwell's PGS but the final step needs the work of a Healing Touch to treat. He's forced to suspend the operation and think about alternatives.

Operation[]
The Savato PGS involves multiple unusual tumors on the heart. They swap between blue and red, and are safe to treat if they're blue. Drain and extract them, and patch the wound with an artificial membrane - however it heals oddly and leaves scar tissue behind.
The trouble with this PGS happens if you touch a tumor while it's red. Not only does it count as a mistake but it causes the tumor to release a gas that triggers hemorrhaging and inflammation at any scar tissue sites. This also applies to tumors that have been drained and cut but not extracted yet.
After extracting the fourth tumor, the fifth one will emerge, changing colors too fast for the eye to keep up with. You can't treat it at this point, so you're forced to close up to finish the operation.
