Fever is the episode of the chapter of Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2.
Story[]
Adel brings up an interesting finding in the corpse of a fallen guerilla. A group of soldiers were all found riddled with subcutaneous bleeding and no external wounds. Derek suspects that these are the signs of Costigar Disease that he was sent to investigate.
Back at camp, another emergency situation breaks out - this time, the child soldier that Adel treated is holding Angie hostage, demanding that he be released since he cannot stay in enemy territory. Adel intervenes and talks him down, convincing the boy that he need not fight any more. The boy breaks down in tears and releases Angie, but suddenly breaks out in a high fever and displays the same symptoms as the guerilla corpses. Derek begins operating to save his life, demonstrating the Healing Touch that lets him work miracles.
After Kafi's life is saved, Adel explains that Kafi will need extensive rehabilitation to be able to function in society again. Sylvia offers to counsel the boy to facilitate this.

Operation[]
This is an operation that has no opening incision, since everything takes place at skin level. However, you have a pretty low vital cap to work with, so exercise caution.
Start with treating all the wounds as you see them. The next step will not kick in until the last wound is treated, so you can leave one wound around to give a little breathing room to raise vitals. Angie will then notify you that his vitals haven't stabilized, so look for blood pockets with the ultrasound. If untreated, the blood pocket will burst and cause severe vital damage.
Once you've picked up the blood pool, incise to let the blood seep out, but mind the vital loss you incur each time you do this. Drain it away and suture the wound you just made. You'll then have to deal with a wave of three blood pockets to drain away.
For the next phase of this operation you'll deal with another wave of three blood pockets, but as you treat them, two more will appear. Don't get too carried away with what's in front of you and take a moment to scan the body every now and then.
The game will throw one last surge of blood pockets and wounds at you, at which point Derek's Healing Touch will kick in. This will last indefinitely and give you the space to treat all the wounds you see. There are three blood pockets to drain out on top of all the lacerations and blood.
