Story[]

Secretary Anderson wakes up 3 days after the operation. Knowing that he will not live for long, he asks for Dr. Hoffman, and persuades him to keep helping patients and take over Caduceus. Hoffman refuses at first, saying that he couldn't bear the responsibility, but Anderson reminds him that being able to help patients used to be his greatest joy, and he used to have the same resolve as Derek, that "people should never have to hear that their condition is 'incurable.'" Hoffman agrees, and Anderson passes away.
