A doctor in training, serving for the Culuruma base camp. Having went to the US and doing a residency there, she has thoughts of practising her trade in her homeland instead.

Seems eager and is willing to learn and better herself the best she can. Despite her hard work she has a tendency to be slightly careless, with her having neglected her shots despite being born in a country with an endemic contagion thinking that her natural immunity would be enough.
Profile[]
First appears in episode 6-2, being introduced as an interpreter to Markus, Valerie and Elena. Shortly after her introduction she remarks about feeling ill, with the three theorizing that she may have been struck with a case of Vaimahse Fever due to her having returned to the country after a number of years and having never taken the immunization shots. After being treated, she decides to follow the three on their inquiries. After a trip to a nearby village, she converses with a villager regarding Stigma, its whereabouts and a mine. She and the three leave and return to camp where Maria is then given a demonstration on Stigma by them. Her final appearance is on episode 6-6, thanking them on helping her country and how she will use their knowledge to further progress her endeavours.
