Master Surgery is Episode 2-2 of Trauma Center: Under the Knife and Second Opinion. It's a story-only episode.

Story[]

Dr. Hoffman calls Derek in to discuss the unusual power he had displayed: the Healing Touch. This power is said to give doctors the ability to cure the incurable, and is thought to have descended from Asclepius, the god of medicine. Despite the fact that it allows Derek to be capable of so much more, Dr. Hoffman discourages him from using it, citing that such a tremendous power also comes with a heavy responsibility. He suggests that Derek take his mind off surgery for a while before coming to a more decisive choice on the use of his power.
