Story[]
This chapter corresponds to chapter 2-8 of the main plot.
Nozomi arrives at the operating room and meets with an operative who briefs her on the patient. He reminds her that while the patient's prognosis is not very good, the organization still finds it beneficial to save his life. Nozomi begins work, unveiling her version of the Healing Touch to complete the operation. The operative is impressed, and discusses her payment. He also reminds her that his organization was the one to help her find her new life in America after she lost her medical license in Japan.

Operation[]
This operation involves a special tumor type, one supported by three arteries. Start by draining the cytoplasm, then sever the arteries and extract the tumor. Burn off any polyps that may spawn in the process.
The tumor is not too difficult to treat alone, but the next stage of the operation will bring forth two more, which can show the tumor's regeneration pattern if you remove them one at a time. The timer to a regeneration starts after the extraction of a tumor, so instead of extracting them one at a time, sever all the supporting arteries before extracting all tumors on screen.
The third phase of the operation throws four tumors at once, and the vital drain would normally be too fast for a normal player to handle. This is where Nozomi uses her Healing Touch, which restores vitals by 10 for every OK, GOOD or COOL earned. You now have the liberty to extract all the tumors without worry of the patient's death.

Getting XS[]
You will need to build up a long chain of over 100, which is difficult to accomplish if you work normally. After completing the extraction of all tumors, burn off the polyps but don't apply antibiotic gel to seal the wounds. This causes blood pools to repeatedly form, which can be repeatedly farmed for a Chain extension.
