Reuben falls ill and he is discovered to have a GUILT infection. As Derek operates, Miller recognizes some features of this GUILT strain, and is horrified that Delphi would draw from a past failed cancer treatment to devise a way to inflict suffering. While Reuben is recovering from a successful Triti operation, Miller receives a telegram that's calling for Derek to return from Africa. The news isn't pretty - Greg Kasal has been infected with a new strain of GUILT.

Operation[]
Meet Triti, the trickiest of the GUILT strains to treat. It's more of a puzzle than an aggressive pathogen, and your biggest threat is the time limit rather than vital damage.
Each Triti membrane is secured by a thorn on its corner. After removal of the thorns, the membrane can be peeled off (UtK also requires you to slice off the membrane before you can peel it off). If the membranes are improperly removed, Triti will spread as much as it can within the organ's boundaries. An in-depth explanation of Triti's behavior can be found on Triti's own page.
Once you know which thorns to remove such that Triti can't spread, it all becomes a matter of moving fast enough to extract groups of Triti before the thorns regenerate. Extract it two to three at a time, and wait for the thorns to regenerate before working on the next group of membranes.
If rank is of no concern to you, the Healing Touch should give you enough time to remove all of Triti's thorns and membranes at once.
