Please Let Me Live is Episode 2-9 of Trauma Center: Under the Knife and Second Opinion.
Story[]
Greg reviews Linda's test results, revealing unusual amounts of syprohedrine in her system that's been giving rise to her emotional instability. The drug has not even completed clinical trials, suggesting that Linda's own body is producing it. Linda's condition worsens with a sudden onset of chest pain, prompting immediate surgery.
After Derek successfully treats Linda's wounds, more lacerations form before his very eyes. He discovers that the source of these wounds is a mysterious pathogen. After Derek successfully exterminates it and saves Linda's life, Greg urges the team to keep the details of this operation strictly confidential, as he is concerned that it may be GUILT.

Operation[]
This operation marks the start of the war against GUILT. More mundane procedures take a backseat to the plot's focus on understanding and treating these pathogens.
You begin with the same conditions as episode 2-6. Drain the blood pools, close the lacerations, and suture everything up. Before suturing up the last laceration, raise the vitals with stabilizer if they look a bit low.
New lacerations will form on the organ. Suture them and start scanning with the ultrasound. You'll eventually pick up a moving shadow - cut it out with the scalpel. It will emerge and make a new laceration. This is Kyriaki. While aggressive, it's also a fragile organism, and can be pacified when struck twice with the laser.
Two more lacerations will form, signifying the entrance of two more Kyriaki bodies. If the patient's vitals are quite high, you can afford to prioritize cutting out and defeating the Kyriaki over treating the wounds. Otherwise, suture and stabilize as needed before engaging the Kyriaki. After eliminating the Kyriaki, take the moment of peace to regain vitals and stitch up the last of the wounds.
When you finish treatment, the adult Kyriaki enters by creating three long lacerations in an asterisk. Like the other Kyriaki, it can be picked up with the ultrasound and it creates a laceration once it's cut out. Unlike the other Kyriaki, it dives back into the organ after getting hit with the laser, forcing you to search for it with the ultrasound again. It takes three laser bursts before the adult Kyriaki is defeated.

Getting XS in SO[]
A good suture technique is key to getting enough points and Chain for a good rank. To avoid getting any BADs, try and make more passes over the laceration while suturing. Suture calmly, and don't rush it. This level is also the best place to practice due to Kyriaki's aggression.
