Reina Mayuzumi, from the Trauma Center DS Sprite Site
Reina Mayuzumi is the president of Acropolis Pharmaceutical in Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2 who tries to seduce Derek into leaving Caduceus USA to work for her. She uses Aletheia, explaining her youthful appearance even though she isn't that young (at 35). She starts by getting Derek to do a puzzle with amino acids and monitoring him during an operation to obtain his HT. Later in the story she is abducted by Delphi, afflicted with the Pempti strain of GUILT and treated by Derek and Angie. During the raid on the Palmwood Plant by Caduceus USA, Patrick Mercer injects her with a serum in a final attempt to revive his wife. The serum makes Aletheia react violently, triggering severe atrophy and causing Reina to age dramatically and almost fatally (which serves her right, giving herself to GUILT so she could stay young...). She is operated on and saved by Derek and Angie for a second time, but her destiny is revealed. Like Heinrich von Raitenau in X1, X2 and X3 and Patrick Mercer in X4, X5 and X6, she is present to taunt the player during X7 as Aletheia has some meaning with her even though it just made her look really old. Her voiceovers include a sinister chuckle (only used in the pre-op of Mother of Sins) 'My, my.', 'Dr. Stiles.', 'Mm, hmhmhm.', 'So what do you say?', and 'Nooooo!!!'.
