Time for Trouble is the second Orthopedics level in Trauma Team.
Opening[]
Maria rushes up to Hank and asks him if he is free to do surgery right then. Hank agrees, but doesn't know what the situation is. Maria reports that a victim of a suicide attempt was just brought in. Hank simply asks "Why?" causing Maria to realize that's what she would like to know. The two part ways and Hank hurries off to the operating room, where he is greeted by a relieved Tomoe before beginning briefing.
Operation[]
This operation has two areas: the right arm and left leg. Use the scalpel to make an incision into the arm. The patient's right humerus is broken cleanly in two, with one piece badly out of alignment. Use the forceps and guide to return it to its original angle. Next step is to place a bone plate. The first part of this is to drill holes into the bone for the screws to go into. Follow the guide for using the drill. Once enough holes are made, the plate is placed for you, and the next part will be to screw it in place. Use the screwdriver to do this. Now the right arm is finished, and the surgery will automatically move to the left leg. This is much worse: the bones of the leg are shattered. To repair this, you must begin by using the forceps to collect the pieces and place them in the tray. Additional pieces are out of alignment; use the forceps to reposition these. Next, replace the fragments in their original positions. Carefully use the forceps to put each piece back where it fits, like a jigsaw puzzle. One fragment is unable to be located, and will have to be replaced with synthetic bone. Use the laser to cut out a piece that will fit, following the guide. You will need to make a couple of cuts to get a piece that fits. Use the forceps to place it in the leg, and place another plate. Now on to the femur. This will need to be treated with pins, so drill into the guides and hammer the pins in. The upper part of the bone has a piece chipped off; reattach this with pins as well. Staple the incision and you're done.
Ending[]
While Claire recovers, Hank visits her room. She asks if he saved her life, asking why. Hank replies it's a doctor's duty to save lives. Claire grumbles that she's tired of people making other people think they're always right, asking what would be wrong with dying. Hank asks what she would hope to gain from being dead. Claire says that it would be better than being alive. Hank says that her leg will heal in two months and leaves. Later, Hank dreams about being in the war. He looks over at a picture of John and says he doesn't know what's right anymore. He says he's only saving lives to feel better about himself. Something blue flashes across the screen before the curtains are seen fluttering, implying he changed into Captain Eagle and flew out the window.
