To Live On is the third episode of the second chapter of Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2.
Story[]
Derek catches up with Tyler and checks in on how Adel's training is going. Tyler is pleased at Adel's enthusiasm and appetite for learning, and he notes that Adel's extremely interested about the Healing Touch.
They bump into Stephen Clarks who tells Derek of a new PGS patient that he's worked on before: Linda Reid. Stephen recommends that Derek see her to offer some reassurance. Linda is distraught about her disease despite having done her best to turn over a new leaf after her GUILT was treated, and her condition begins to deteriorate. Dr. Clarks allows Derek to take over care and operate on her.
After a successful operation, Linda can finally find comfort that she's on a stable path to recovery.

Operation[]
Before you begin working on the lung, inject the PGS sedative to relieve toxicosis.
Now, you are introduced to three new elements: pus, inflammations, and the magnifier. First, drain away the pus, and then inject the blue anti-inflammatory into the red spots underneath. Then, extract three tumors from this operation field.
Now, you'll have to search for four more tumors, and this is where the ultrasound gets the magnifier function added. Tap, hold, and slide around to move the magnifier. You have two tumors each at the lung's apex and base to find and excise.

Getting XS[]
Do your best to earn COOLs on as many tumors as you can to make the score criteria. Pus tends to pool over the tumor sites so you can locate the tumors without a single pulse of the ultrasound.
