Uninvited Guest is the second Surgery level in Trauma Team.
Opening[]
Gabriel visits CR-S01 in his cell, asking him to perform another surgery. He arrives and meets Maria, who briefly thinks he looks familiar. There is no time left, so they begin the briefing.
Operation[]
First thing is to use the laser to treat the small tumors on the skin. Once they are dealt with, clean the areas with antibiotic gel. Next, use the ultrasound to locate tumors hidden under the skin. These will appear as shadows at first; cutting them open with the scalpel reveals them. Drain the cytoplasm, cut it out with the scalpel and remove it with the forceps. Next, place a synthetic membrane over the area and affix it with gel. This is the only skin tumor; open the intestine to continue. First, there are a number of small inflammations on the intestine, which must be treated with the syringe. Search the surgical field to find them all. Once all are dealt with, continue finding and treating tumors as before. Remove three tumors in a row and move on to the lungs. These have more small tumors that must be lasered. Once these are treated, you will find a tumor shadow, but cutting it open reveals mucus. Drain it and seal the incision with gel. Searching the lung will reveal additional mucus pockets that must be treated the same way. The game will note that more of these pockets are forming, indicating that some process is actively creating them. Small tumors will also continue to appear; burn these away. Eventually, you come upon another hidden tumor; treat it just like before. Keep searching to find all the remaining mucus areas and drain them. A weird black bruise will soon appear, prompting CR-S01 to scream in horror. Continue operating, removing all the tumors, small tumors, and mucus you find. This will be hard, as the tumors will begin appearing with greater frequency. After treating a large number of these, removing a tumor prompts the disappearance of the bruises, indicating that the patient is out of danger. Cover the area with synthetic membrane and close up the patient.
Ending[]
Gabriel comes to ask CR-S01 how the operation went. CR-S01 reveals that all tumors have been removed, but her condition is unique so she must be monitored closely. He tries to return to the prison, but Gabriel convinces him to stay and look after his patient. Outside, Holden asks Gabriel if he's happy with what he's seeing. Gabriel says he needs to decide and CR-S01's guards are annoying. He asks Holden not to interfere with his job if he doesn't interfere with Holden's.
