Welcome to the X missions, where you combat with souped-up versions of the pathogens you've faced across the game. The difficulty is locked to "Extreme", so exceptional reflexes are needed to complete these operations.
Kyriaki's laceration and bleed damage is exceptionally high. While you may have been able to get away with smearing gel all over the place in the first game, here the gel alone is not enough to sustain the patient. Suture every laceration as they appear, and locate and exterminate the Kyriaki as fast as you can to minimize the lacerations that appear. You start with a wave of three Kyriaki, then two before you face the Queen.
The Queen Kyriaki is tankier than before, requiring 6 laser hits to defeat. If you focus too much on raising vitals you may lose a lot of time, so you can instead get away with keeping the vitals at around 50. The Queen Kyriaki lays 2 pupae for its initial appearance and when it first two times retreats, then lays 3 pupae for the next two hits, then 4 on its last legs.

Getting XS[]
Blitz through the small Kyriaki waves. Leave one laceration open and exhaust your syringe by pumping vitals as high as possible, then engage the Queen. While fighting the Queen, avoid using the stabilizer unless absolutely necessary, aiming to keep vitals at about 40-50.
